Inergovernmental Affairs

We help build and maintain relations between the Government of Canada, Government of Yukon, self-governing Yukon First Nations, First Nations governed under the Indian Act, the Council of Yukon First Nations, and other First Nation organizations. Our activities include:

Delivering traditional governance, capacity building, and economic development programs
Coordinating federal participation in intergovernmental political discussions
Providing support to the Council of Yukon First Nations
Managing the financial relationship and agreements between the federal government and self-governing Yukon First Nations
