My name is Alexandra Mansour. I'm from the Essipit community and I study Social Work in a Master's program.
I work for Service Canada and I'm a citizen service officer.
I do reception and support for old age security, social insurance numbers and employment insurance.
I like my job because I can help citizens and they leave with a smile on their face, or with a feeling of relief. It's sort of related to my area of study, the aid relationship.
My manager and my team leader are very supportive. They're quite flexible, and they'll give me a lot ewer hours during exam time than during the quieter periods. It's really the perfect job for me. My managers are A1.
For me, this has been a fantastic work experience, that followed me throughout my studies and that could even lead to a job after.
