Acquisition program details
Forty-eight works of art were selected for the Indigenous Art Collection at Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada.
Jurors for the National acquisitions program were:
- Barry Pottle (Inuk), photographer
- Andrea Walsh (Canadian), visual artist and anthropologist specializing in contemporary Indigenous art and visual culture at University of Victoria
- Jaimie Isaac (Ojibway), curator and founding member of The Ephemerals Collective, an all-female Indigenous arts collective
