Acquisition program details
One hundred and twelve works of art were selected for the Indigenous Art Collection at Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada.
Jurors for the National acquisitions program were:
- Rhéanne Chartrand (Métis), curator and creative producer
- Hjalmer Wenstob (Nuu-chah-nulth), artist specializing in sculpture and carving
- Shirley Moorhouse (Inuit), heritage crafts artisan, fabric artist
- Cheryl L'Hirondelle (Métis/Cree), multidisciplinary media artist, performer and award-winning musician
